A Sakai JSF tool (paraphrased and much abbreviated) from SCORM conformance requirements), be able to launch and sequence a known conformant 'SCORM 2004 Conformant Sharable Content Object' (SCO), including data persistence of the full datamodel. The SCO is stored unpacked in the ContentHostingService. Packages are launched from within the Tool.  The tool code is based on ADL Co-lab's open source reference implementation of the Sample Runtime Environment (1.3.3, minimally modified to preserve update paths).  This is intended to be a platform from which Sakai can begin to evolve a mature SCORM Runtime Capability even though, initially, we strive for to make the tool merely conformant.
