Welcome to the Teaching and Learning (T&L) Group!

The T&L Group Mission

To drive innovation on teaching and learning within the Sakai community. To share best practices, understandings and experiences among faculty members themselves and between faculty and other Sakai community members. To communicate the goals and issues of the teaching and learning community to contributors in Sakai including developers, UX (user experience), system administrators, documentation, support, and QA (quality assurance).

Hello and welcome! This confluence site is the gathering place for folks interested in teaching, learning and assessment within the Sakai community. We are actively looking for more folks to contribute so please wonder around and jump in wherever you wish.  You may also want to join the "Teaching and Learning" (i.e. "pedagogy") discussion group. If you have questions e-mail Joshua Baron

The Teaching and Learning Group has been engaged in an "instructional visioning" exercise focused on Sakai 3 for the past several months.  Much of our recent work has involved the generation of a Learning Capabilities document.  We have reach a point in this process where we feel we need have a sustained and focused effort in order to organize and refine this document and "take it to the next level".  To do this, we are in the process of planning for a two-day "virtual working session" in which we hope community members from around the world will come together to help work on this effort.  If you are interest, please visit our Virtual Working Session planning page and sign up.
