Concepts of an evaluation workflow
So, what are the primitives from the evaluation domain? What are these atomic step that will enable us to compose evaluation and review processes from?* An evaluation workflow can consist of the four following phases:
- Working phase
The student(s) is/are working on the work item, he/they can save work as many times as he/they like.
The student(s) is/are still working and asked for comments and other input from fellow students, teachers and/or other contributors,
- Evaluation phase
The student(s) has/have (in his/their opinion) finished the work, and submitted the work item for evaluation.
One or more evaluators (coaches, teachers, etc.) will evaluate the work and assign it a score.
The evaluators have assigned a scored that will lead to the grade of the work.
The work item has been evaluated and graded. Both the work item and the evaluation will remain unchanged.
