  1. Tailored for the Generic Sakai Instance: Govind Iyengar

  2. Tested on 2.5.0 QA on Oracle - Built: 08/21/08 14:04 - Sakai sakai_2-5-3_rc01 - Server qa3-us (XP SP2, IE 7.x, Firefox 3.x)

Step 2 - Assignment 1 as created in ASN-01 has no option for grading (note that its Grade Scale was left at default - ungraded - when it was created). Thus, there is a need to include a step to change the Grade Scale for this assignment. This step can be added either in ASN-01 or in ASN-03. The former is more structured, since it's bad form to edit an assignment after submissions have been made. I have included a comment in ASN-01 to this effect, and I've added the action to Step 3 in ASN-01.

Step 3 - After the Download All link is selected, one has to go through an additional pop-up window before getting to the window listed in the Expected result. I have included an extra step (3a) to capture this.

Step 4 - The popup window does not automatically close when OK is selected. One must close the window manually. I have included an additional step (4a) to capture this.

Step 6 - When the attachment is selected, one goes through the same additional pop-up window as described in Step 3. I have included an extra step (6a) to capture this. Note that this Expected Result does not hold if the attachment is an image. Rather, the image opens directly in a browser window when the attachment is selected.

Step 7 - As in Step 4, the popup window does not close automatically. I have included an extra step (7a) to address this.

Step 12 - One must select the Assignment List link in order to access the Grade link for the recently graded assignment (see Step 13). I have added a step (12a) to make that transition.

Step 13 - An action was included in the Expected Result area. I have added an extra step (13a) to fix this.

Step 15 - If one selects the Save button at this point, the student will not be able to re-submit (see steps16-23), since the assignment would not have been returned. I have changed this action so that the instructor returns the assignment to the student rather than saving it.

Steps 25-26 - When we switch back to the instructor account, we should be in the Submissions for Assignment 1 page due to previous steps. All that is needed at this point is select the refresh icon to get back to the Assignment List. I have changed both steps to reflect this.

Apart from these changes, the results were as expected.
