  • Troubleshooting File Upload Filters

Go to start of metadata

If you are trying to upload a file inside the File Picker from within many OSP tools and the Forms tool, you may see the following error:
Alert: The file <file name> did not match the filter type.

This is most likely due to an incorrect file type on the file you are uploading. Many of the filters are filtering on the file extension as well as file type.
It may be that either your OS or browser do not recognize the file type and try to "guess".

If you know for sure that the file should have a different file type, feel free to change it through the Resources tool.

Here's a table for reference:

Extension

If you are getting bored of having to change the file type of each xsl file that you upload to text/xsl you can also set the mimetype for this file on your computer.

On windows:

  1. Open a command prompt
  2. at the prompt type: "ftype xsl=text/xsl"
