Scope:

  • Review and revise the built-in help documentation within the existing tool. Look at text for accuracy and completeness, review layout and formatting, and keep the end-user in mind.
  • We are currently reviewing the following tools:
    • Announcements
    • Forums
    • Gradebook (1.0)
    • Roster
    • Schedule
    • Rich text editor (aka WYSIWYG editor)

Expectations

For selected tools:

  • Bring out of date documentation up to date
    • Meet Language & Terminology guidelines
    • Confirm accuracy of the steps
  • Capture any new changes made to tools in 2.9
  • Add any common 'gotchas' we've observed in the tools
  • Apply formatting changes used for Site Info in the Help Files 2.8 Project
