SCORM (Sharable Content Object Reference Model) is a standard, readily available, and well-established way to deliver, track, and score online activities, and Sakai is just getting to the point of being able to use it. Work in the Sakai community over the past year has made SCORM integration a reality. In true community fashion, Edia has picked up the SCORM player originally written at the University of California, Davis, and made several enhancements. At the same time, Rustici Software has demonstrated a Sakai integration of their commercial, cloud-based SCORM player.
