I've worked at Stanford University for the past few years:
- building build and production support software for the Stanford Registry team; sorta like Maven before Maven
- managing the developers who kept the home-grown system, Coursework, running while we
- integrated Sakai with the Stanford Campus. This version of Sakai is branded "Coursework v5"
- keeping all the plates spinning
Under the umbrella of CZWX LLC I'm currently a free-lancing Java developer.
I'm working on a new assessment tool for use with Sakai. The tool has a stand-alone application as a front end. Sakai serves as a repository for the assessment content and the results. A Sakai-side tool provides an administrative interface for running the assessment, which is performed in a controlled lab.
You can find me on the Sakai IRC server using a variation of Casey as my handle.
My public blog's rss feed is a new thing.
