Mellon RIT Announcement
I've recently had a number of questions about the Mellon Foundation folding the RIT program into the Scholarly Communications program. This does not affect Sakai as we have no current funding (or plans for funding) from Mellon. You can learn more by reading my blog post on the subject.

Michael Korcuska is currently the Executive Director of the Sakai Foundation. The best places to track the communications of the Executive Director are:

The announcements email list. This is a low volume list that also receives the bi-weekly Sakai newsletter, which typically contains an item from the ED. You can subscribe here.
The Executive Director's blog. This blog is also available (with other Sakai blogs) on Planet Sakai.
The Sakai Executive Brief. This is a high-level summary of happenings in the Sakai community. It is intended for general (non-technical) audiences.
