Sakai QA Working Group

Welcome to the Sakai Working Group on Quality Assurance. This is the home page for the Sakai Working Group (WG) on Quality Assurance (QA). Participation in the QA effort is always needed and most appreciated. Simply put, the main principle behind Software Quality Assurance (SQA) is to ensure the software is working as it's expected to and that the changes that were made don't introduce new problems

There are many ways to assist with a variety of skill levels:

  • General JIRA bug verification
  • Documentation of current processes
  • Manual Regression testing using written test conditions
  • Tool adoption - a combination of bug verification and regression testing where2.6.0 the focus is on one tool.
  • Log analysis
  • Deployment testing - install the latest tag during the release cycle to verifiy installation success, documentation and scripts
  • Write and/or update Test Conditions
  • Scripts for automated testing
