ToDo's and notes from last meeting
- Tim sent out message reminding community to sign up; we have 11 people currently
- Daphne is still working on Jonathan Howarth's (VT) study; she's aiming to have it ready in two weeks
- Tim will do the site re-org next week
- Marc will update the evaluation matrix with his evaluations as time permits
- Kathy is working on her evaluation synthesis.
- Judy would like to pick up on any missing ones. She'll look at the Oncourse and the Michigan evaluations and pick one of those to synthesiuze
New stuff

- U-Camp planning
- Can we get the synthesis done in time for the conference? Or can we get enough done that a card sorting activity would be useful?
- Marc's proposal to make this general UI DG call

- introductory comments on various on user testing stuff

- Harriet and Kathy have plans to do testing on, results to be published
- the group hasn't met in awhile and recent UI reviews have been challenging
- get in touch with Harriet if you have any input
- difficult to get people to by into user testing unless it's "empirical"
- survey results can be more valid to non-designers, while designers can go more for depth
- should take into account for our reviews and synthesis

- he desires people to take a look and give reviews
- probably shorten Fluid, design patterns and RSF
- who will do RSF? invite Aaron to next weeks call to talk about this?
- do we want to do some heuristic/user testing of Sakai
- maybe we should have someone speak to the differences between qualitative and quantitative data analysis
- Julie and Gonzalo to copresent on "localizing the skin", also have it in u-camp
