As long as you are listing roles,...As long as you are listing roles, I think there really should also be a vertical box next to Software Developers (under the tool projects and WGs) that represents the User experience reps (Interaction designers and Instructional designers and Faculty). Perhaps, you should just take out the Software developer box all together and assume the teams will be created independent of the larger structure.

Are we saying the Architecture Team and Tools team continue unchanged under SEPP-2? Does this mean Michigan and Indiana will continue to commit current staffing levels beyond the end of the project?

Not completely, unchanged, John. My view is that the Tools, Architecture, and QA...Not completely, unchanged, John. My view is that the Tools, Architecture, and QA teams are "vision holders" for Sakai that span particular releases. I anticipate that the composition of these teams will change over time to include passionate members of the Sakai community outside of the original contributors.
The review is a functional analysis. It largley talks about what Sakai does and how it could do them in the future. There are no requirements on who staffs it, but there is a need for work to get done and someone will have to do it. Already, this is changing and we are starting to see people from outside of the core-4 making signficiant contributions, including CARET!
