Some preliminary notes and brainstorming:

1. Instructor sets an introductory survey as a prerequisite for viewing course content
2. Self-paced learning progression from content item to assignment/assessment, then back to the next content item, etc.
3. Administrator sets completion of course evaluation as a prerequisite for releasing grades
4. Reading a particular content item allows you to participate in the discussion thread associated with it
5. Exam solutions become available as soon as the exam is submitted
6. Students cannot progress to the next lesson until a passing score is received on the quiz for the prior lesson
