Aim
This BOF aims to collect and disperse managerial and organisational knowledge and experiences from local Sakai deployment and maintenance projects. It is aimed at developers, managers, project leaders and product owners dedicated to improving the software development process.
Issues include:
- How do we plan our projects?
- Who gets to decide what should be done and how to get them done?
- What impediments are there and how do we steer clear from them?
- How do developers become motivated and productive?
- How are end users involved?
Background
At the heels of an industry trend, Stockholm University has adopted Scrum as a framework for "agile" product and project planning and management. As a starting point for this discussion, we would like to share our experiences using Scrum in a recent local Sakai project.
