Post 2.4 Tag – Late in the 2.4 QA cycle, Assignment enhancements for 2.4 were withdrawn due to problems with the Assignment - Gradebook integration. Sakai 2.4 shipped with Assignment functionality unchanged from 2.3. Many enhancements intended for 2.4 were working however, and a tag has been prepared with those features that have been tested and working. These features will also be in the 2.5 release. More Info...- Allow grading for students that have not posted any submissions.
- Non-electronic submission type.
- Notifications for new submissions.
- Upload all.
- Reordering of assignments (like Resources).
Numerous bug fixes will be included in 2.5. These include several performance problems, blocking double clicking when grading (which caused duplicate submissions and incorrect in/new counts), and bugs introduced with the new non-electronic assignment type. You can check which bugs will be fixed by searching for all Assignment Jiras, and then sorting on the Target version column in the list.
